ENERMAR Conferences 2017

The Association and the School of Naval and Oceanic Engineers of Spain, through its renewable energy of marine origin (ENERMAR) PAT18 working group, organized the VIII Edition of the Technical Conferences which, under the slogan “The sea and energy renewable. The contribution of Naval and Oceanic Engineering”, was held 29-30 June in the Canary Islands oceanic platform PLOCAN, Telde – Las Palmas. As it has become usual, NAUTILUS Floating Solutions sponsored these days.

The event hosted a large number of technicians and specialists in renewable energy which explained the State of the Art of the foundations for offshore wind energy.

The sessions were organized in two days, hosting technical panels and roundtables in which outstanding personalities from Industry, Technology, University, and Public Administrations were involved.

On the 29th, one of the main topics tackled: “Platforms for Offshore wind” in which Germán Pérez, Head of Offshore Wind of Tecnalia, representing NAUTILUS Floating Solutions, submited the paper “Analysis and reduction of risks in the development of the floating wind”.
