Technical Workshops ENERMAR 2018

 

PAT18, is a task force of Offshore Renewable Energy (ENERMAR), Naval and Oceanic Architect Association of Spain, organised the IX edition la 9ª edición de sus Jornadas Técnicas que, bajo el lema “El mar y las energías renovables, se celebró los días 28 y 29 de junio de 2018 en Sevilla.

During the technical workshops, NAUTILUS Floating Solutions presented the FLOW Project, that consist of the developlment of an offshore wind turbine for its full-scale demonstration.

The Project FLOW is being developed by an industrial consortium coordinated by NAUTILUS Floating Solutions having several partners: these are, Astilleros Murueta, CT Ingenieros, HWS Concrete Towers, Iberdrola Renovables, MATZ Erreka, Navacel, NEM Solutions, Nervión Industries, Ormazabal, Vicinay Cadenas and Vicinay Sestao. And associations like Cluster of Energy, Foro Marítimo Vasco and Uniport Bilbao, besides four leading scientific-technological agents; Tecnalia Research & Innovation, IKERLAN, Vicinay Marine Innovación and Ormazabal Corporate Technology.

Within this framework, the FLOW incentive emerges to take advantage of and enhance the capabilities of the Basque Country throughout the supply chain of floating offshore wind, with entities, companies and an extensive network of science and technology that are internationally relevant.
